One Love Movement is an inspiring charity
organization which works to unite communities to make impactful changes
throughout the world. Their focus lies on promoting social justice through the
support of child welfare, humanitarian aid, child education and social services
by creating awareness and funding opportunities for nonprofits.
Last year, we had the opportunity to make a
donation and become a silver sponsor of their One Love Charity Yoga event in
San Diego. Coastal Tree Care owner, Joseph Eves, and his wife, Jessica,
attended and participated in the yoga event to show our support for their
cause. The event takes place at Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego and is an
open invitation for all community members to come and unite in a space that
celebrates community and gives back to others in need. An admission ticket
provides attendees access to the yoga session with ocean views, live music,
guest speakers, a wellness garden- equipped with massage chairs and
acupuncture, and a children’s center. This particular event raises funding for
the rehabilitation of sex-trafficked victims, assistance for foster-youth
transitioning from juvenilies to adulthood, education assistance for young teen
moms, learning tools for refugee children, outdoor field-trips for inner-city
youth, among more.
The San Diego Yoga Charity is just one of many events that One Love Movement hosts across the globe. A few of their other inspirational movements include:
- One Love in Schools- supports
anti-bullying and LGBTQ+ students in schools.
- One Love India- a shelter in
Bangalore, India, which provides a home for 17 young boys, as well as the
infrastructure support for 36 developing schools.
- One Love Puerto Rico- a small
group of volunteers who work one-on-one with families affected by the lack of
electrical power and other basic necessities.
- One Love Haiti- a donation of
$21,000 to help rebuild Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010.
- & more!
We are proud to sponsor One Love’s 8th annual
Charity Yoga event in San Diego for 2019. The event is scheduled for September,
21st at 9am. Tickets and all other information surrounding the movement’s cause
